Hello fellow Reiki Practitioners

Hope you are all well and looking forward to the next development circle and Reiki share. New time and New location (see below). Thank you to all the students who attended the last Share in May where we did a Chakra Healing meditation. I was so pleased that so many of you loved it and felt I should record it for people to take with them.
Upcoming Reiki courses: 2019
Reiki 2 on 14th July for any Reiki 1 students wanting to move forward spiritually by learning specific symbols for physical/emotional concerns and distant healing, and be able to treat the public. This will be held at my new practice location at Clifton Moor. Again it's a full Day and 2-3 weeks of pre-course reading and practice exercises. For those of you who've already done the course and would like to be presented with your Reiki 2 certificate on the evening, please send your homework via email by this Wednesday please. The following R2 date will be on 1st September.
Reiki Deepening: November time (TBA)
Reiki 1 - Sunday, 4th August. For anyone you feel might want to learn Reiki with me.
RMT - 15th and 22nd September, 2019 (pracitising minimum a year after your Reiki 2 certificate as all Reiki Associations will only accept your RMT a year after R2. and 6 months minimum after Reiki Deepening. Reiki Deepening is optional however it's for those not sure about Reiki Master's but would like to enhance their treatments move forward spiritually, learn the sacred sounds that predate the symbols, and invite more peace into their lives, increasing/enhance their intuitive capabilities.
Finally, after numerous people asking when I was going to organise a weekend retreat away it's finally going to happen. I'm organising a Reiki Retreat the first weekend in October 4th, 5th and 6th of this year not to far out from York. I'm really excited about this. A beautiful space has been created, surrounded by nature, where you can Relax, Rewind, Heal and Renew with hopefully having made some new friendships with like minded people, to feel more harmony, laughter and balance in your life, and / or to develop in areas of your practice or life that you felt needed a lift. I would love if you perhaps left the Retreat feeling more relaxed, renewed and inspired than when you first arrived. Please let me know if you may be interested. Just watch this space for more upcoming details.
This next share meeting's theme on 1st July is Journeying with the Reiki Drum once again.

Why it may be good idea to experience a shamanic journey?
By allowing yourself to have an open mind and enter in an ecstatic trance state, called the soul flight or shamanic journey, it may allow you, the journeyer, to view life from a detached, spiritual perspective, not easily achieved in a state of ordinary consciousness. (Our perceptions of the world, others, and ourselves, as well as our reactions to them). For those of you interested in learning Reiki drumming, I will be able to offer this course sometime later this year for Reiki 2's and above.
For those who haven't attended a Reiki share yet briefly, we will still start with our energy exercises: the Hatsurei meditation, and you will receive an empowerment in person, give and receive a treatment (in sitting down position or bring a treatment table if you'd like 12 mins in a lying down position- yes there is space) and then I will be proceeding with the theme of the evening. For those of you who who do not want to stay for the drumming, you can leave at this point. For those of you staying for this, you can bring a fluffy or picnic blanket, or a treatment table which we can set up and put against one of the walls. I will also be looking for written feedback after the drumming which, if I use it towards my Master's Drumming course work, you can have 10% off any treatments booked with me or 20% off the next share (2nd September 2019)
I'm confirming that the Development Circle and Share will be held at a NEW LOCATION and NEW START Time: Park Grove School (off of Huntington Road) and starting at 6:15 pm, finishing at 8:15 pm. Parking is Free in the care park at the front of school. *please be mindful as there may still be small children milling about. There are bicycle racks for those cycling in.
Please remember I send out my Empowerments on a Tuesday for you to pick up distantly at any time. This way I continue to echo what Mikao Usui's students would do from time to time.
As previously, the venue appreciates my deposit before the share night commences, so if you wouldn't mind sending £7 to my BACs as an early bird offer until Thursday 27th June up to midnight. £10 from Friday 28th June and any drop ins on the night so the school is aware we are definitely attending on the Monday. (*please gently note that this deposit is non-refundable or transferable). Please let me know at your earliest convenience if you are planning to attend. There may be some contraindications for anyone who has the following: Diabetes, Pacemakers, Epilepsy, Schizophrenia & Psychosis, so I will have a waiver to sign for anyone attending on the evening. Next Share: 2nd September.
For those who require a lift to the venue or can offer a lift, also please send me a note by email or text. I believe I have Catherine who lives in the Dringhouses area so anyone in that area or coming in from Acomb wouldn't mind getting in touch to pick her up would be lovely.
As I'm not sure if the school will provide enough glasses for water, and am steering away for the 1-use plastics, if you could bring a water bottle along, we would be happy to fill it up for you.
